One of our USA-based clients wanted to use the blockchain technology to re-imagine physical certifications and similar affiliations by replacing them with digital credit tokens. They also wanted to store the participant’s data and distribute their earned credits in a transparent manner. Some of the requested features included - event creation, automated credit distribution, and activity tracking, for the organizing company. And credit claiming, viewing, & redeeming functionality, for the participants.
Solution
We built a robust mobile application that allowed organizers to create events and digital credits. The app leveraged a decentralized network to keep track of the necessary activities and store that information in a secure and transparent environment. For the participants the app offered various methods to redeem said tokens including - scanning a QR code, typing in a unique code manually, and others. We also suggested and built an event cloning functionality, considering organizations typically host multiple events of a similar niche. The app also included quality-of-life features, such as automated and manual syncing with the decentralized network and the option to create multiple profiles to handle different business cases.
