The main objective to make a fully-featured web store that delivers an exemplary shopping experience so that shoppers can get to what they want faster and without running into unnecessary complexity that can clog up the path to purchase. The comics are bought as ebooks so, it was necessary that different modes of reading for users were developed. A very special requirement was to develop a mode of reading where every single comic illustration for a page could be individually zoomed and read in sequence just like a movie.

Solution
We developed this aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate online comic book store with advanced filtering so that it’s easy to search for products and purchase them. Since, the comics are downloadable as a ebook, we had to make sure the complete text along with all figures and illustrations were incorporated in high resolution to make reading much more intuitive. The comics can be read in single page mode or flip book mode for the best reading experience. The zoom mode, which was specially developed for users who liked reading comics on a small screen device, where every single comic illustration for a page could be individually zoomed and read in sequence just like a movie. We also have a rating system in place to make decision making easy for other users. A simple click to share details of the product to social media friends meant attracting more business, so, social media integration was a big part of this application.
