The requirement was to build a parental control application that goes beyond traditional app-blocking features. We needed to develop a solution that could proactively detect harmful content using AI, allow parents to set app usage limits, and provide real-time monitoring of a child’s location with customizable geo-fencing.
Solution
We developed a platform that provides parents with a centralized dashboard accessible via web and mobile, where they can view their child’s app usage statistics, set daily or weekly time limits per app, and instantly block or unblock applications or websites. A real-time AI monitoring engine scans all active screens, messages, and browsing sessions to detect harmful or inappropriate content, automatically generating alerts with contextual explanations that are sent to the parent dashboard and via push notifications. Parents can review flagged instances, approve or dismiss AI alerts, and adjust sensitivity levels. The system also integrates safe browsing controls, customizable blocklists, and location tracking with geofencing, ensuring parents can supervise and intervene proactively in their child’s digital activity while maintaining privacy.
